Pavlomir wine house
Wine is
the fruit of industrious hands, the product of the knowledge and creativity of winemakers
who work painstakingly all year round. Viticultural skills, the harvest, the
processing and the anticipation are all integral parts of the art of winemaking,
and well-known to the diligent winemakers of Pavlomir.
The
winery owns 40 hectares of land, of which 31 hectares are vineyards. In the heart
of the vineyard, there is a cellar and a tasting room which are open to visitors.
In
Croatia, it is customary for wines to be named after grapevine varieties. The
pride of Pavlomir vineyards is Žlahtina, an indigenous variety of the Croatian
Littoral whose scent recalls the sea, citrus fruits, green apples, chives and
wet sea stones. The winery also produces other varieties of wine, some of which
are of the highest quality: Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Frankovka, Pinot
Blanc, and Muškat.
The highlight of every wine production is sparkling wine, which requires
great knowledge and care. Try the premium sparkling wines San Marino and 1288
and let the 250 million bubbles per bottle carry you away.
Enjoy the shade of the vineyards and experience the richness of the scents,
the colours of nature and the finest aromas served in a wine glass.
