The Tourist Board of the City of Novi Vinodolski and Run Croatia are organizing the second Novi Trail 2025 race on Saturday, May 31, starting at 10:00 AM at the Korzo of Croatian Defenders.<\/p>\n
Both the short and long trails pass through Antun Ma\u017eurani\u0107 Street. The longer route continues along Pridolska Street toward Barutana, then heads toward Pavlomir and on to St. Vid before returning to the city center. The shorter route goes through Novljansko Polje toward Pavlomir and also returns to the center. The trail race only starts on asphalt and then transitions to marked trail paths across various types of terrain, which is typical for trail races.<\/p>\n
For this reason, traffic will be restricted on Antun Ma\u017eurani\u0107 Street, Pridolska Street (from the intersection with Antun Ma\u017eurani\u0107 Street to the intersection with Prisika Street), Pavlomir Street, and Novljansko Polje Street during the race, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Firefighters, police, and volunteers will be present along the course to ensure safety and assist in case of emergencies. Streets will be closed at the start of the race, but as the runners pass, limited access will be possible until the finish line approaches and streets are closed again.<\/p>\n
Due to the many access roads connected to Antun Ma\u017eurani\u0107 Street, we kindly inform and ask all citizens and visitors of Novi Vinodolski for patience and understanding during the event. The return of the first runners to the Korzo is expected around 11:00 AM, so in case all runners finish early, streets may reopen earlier.<\/p>\n
At 12:30 PM, children\u2019s races of 100 m and 200 m will take place on the pedestrian zone of the Korzo of Croatian Defenders. We also ask for caution during the approximately 30-minute event.<\/p>\n
