At the electoral assembly of the Sk\u00e5l Club Kvarner, held on 20 November at the Navis Hotel in Opatija, members elected the club\u2019s new leadership. For the next two years, the president of the Sk\u00e5l Club Kvarner will be Petar \u0160karpa, Director of the Rijeka Tourist Board. Tamara \u010cerneka was appointed Vice President and representative in the National Committee, Irena Per\u0161i\u0107 \u017divadinov as Chair of the Executive Board, and the Board members are: Daniela Grla\u0161, Marijana Biondi\u0107, Anamaria Hauptfeld Schweitzer and Andrej Ku\u0161eta.<\/p>\n
The Supervisory Board is headed by Katica Hauptfeld, with members Mirna Kre\u0161i\u0107 and Tena Peri\u010di\u0107, and auditors Dora Smol\u010di\u0107 Jurdana and Ivana Kova\u010di\u0107. Valnea Iva\u0161i\u0107 was appointed the new Secretary of the Club, and Goran Pavlovi\u0107 the Liquidator. The new leadership takes on the role of promoting professional values in tourism and hospitality.<\/p>\n
Sk\u00e5l International, founded in 1934, brings together managers and decision-makers from all areas of the tourism industry to foster and build a global professional network. It operates through more than 300 clubs with over 12,000 members in more than 80 countries under the slogan \u201cDoing business among friends!\u201d Membership in the club provides unique opportunities for networking with colleagues worldwide, sharing knowledge and experience, and participating in various projects.
