On Thursday, October 26 at 6 PM, the presentation of the latest novel “Crossroads” by Marijana Perinić will take place at the National Reading Room and Library in Novi Vinodolski.

The novel “Crossroads” explores fundamental family, friendship, and life values, deals with the timeless themes of male-female relationships, betrayal, deceit, and the power of forgiveness, and touches upon current issues such as political scandals, abortion rights, discrimination due to diversity, and homophobia.

Perinić is a writer, blogger, host, impersonator, manager, and tourist guide. She entered the world of stand-up comedy in 2007. She has performed over 600 shows in Croatian clubs and has made numerous guest appearances throughout the region. Her first book was published in 2010: “Gore ne može,” a collection of humorous stories from stand-up comedy shows. Two years later, she published the novel “Šaka suza, vrića smija,” and in 2016 the acclaimed novel “Jesi online?” The novel “Crossroads” was published in 2021.
