With glittering decorations aglow and the scent of Christmas treats in the air, the past week at Advent at Mažuranić was filled with unforgettable moments. The town center transformed into a magical stage where children from Fijolica Kindergarten, music-English workshop participants, a special LED animation, and many musicians brought the holiday spirit to life. Groups like Mirakul, Grooversi, DJs, and the concert by Damir Kedžo filled the square with infectious rhythms and joy.

But the fun doesn’t stop:
Friday, December 29 kicks off a New Year warm-up with Techno Vikings and DJ Saša Šoštarić.

Saturday night will shine under the stars, warmed by the aromas of festive treats with live music from Cabaret band and DJ Matko — your prelude to a dynamic, dance-filled New Year’s Eve.

Novi Vinodolski will greet the New Year at noon at the traditional Zdravica Nova. On Sunday, December 31, the city will once again become the party epicenter with two stages: Eureka and Venus on Ivan Mažuranić Square, Kvartet Unique on Vinodol Law Square.

Indulge in delights from four Advent stalls — sweets, creative drinks, hearty goulash from hunting societies, mulled wine from Ružica Vinodola, and doughnuts at the entrance of Santa’s House. The New Year’s package — at just €10 — includes a mug plus unlimited mulled wine and hunting fare.

We haven’t forgotten the little ones. The Culture House welcomes them to the North Pole with an igloo play area, polar bear and penguin friends, snowman, Eskimos, and an interactive LED show.

Enjoy the official countdown, midday toast, and farewell to the old year on Ivan Mažuranić Square, complete with special effects. Just show up with a mug of mulled wine, and let’s ring out the old year in style.
