If you don’t know where to celebrate New Year’s Eve, we have an idea! Novi Vinodolski traditionally hosts a New Year’s Toast on New Year’s Eve at noon – an event organised by the Tourist Board, the Novi Vinodolski Culture Centre, the Košutnjak and Gradina hunting associations, and the Association of Friends of Grapes and Wine.

The programme begins at 10 AM on New Year’s Eve. It includes live music on two squares and a special New Year’s culinary package at a symbolic price: a hunter’s stew, a souvenir cup, and mulled wine in unlimited quantities, which are distributed at stands by members of associations dressed as Santa Claus. Fine entertainment is provided by various performers ranging from tamburica ensembles and klapa vocal groups to local bands.

We haven’t forgotten our youngest ones either: at the same time as the New Year’s Toast, there is a special programme for children in the town centre. We have also prepared special packages for children, consisting of tea, a cup, balloons and cakes. In addition, all children can enjoy a free ride on the New Year’s ‘tourist train’ and an entertainment programme organised just for them.

The programme lasts until late afternoon, after which there are New Year’s Eve parties in our hotels and restaurants.
