The curtain will fall on an excellent autumn Nordic walking season in Novi Vinodolski on Saturday, November 23, with the conclusion of the successful program “Nordic Walking Through the Historic Trails of Novi Vinodolski”, organized by the Tourist Board of Novi Vinodolski in cooperation with KŠR Gorovo and Nordic Walking Team Opatija.

This program has offered outstanding Nordic walking and hiking experiences along various trails, and Novi Vinodolski and its surroundings have plenty to showcase. Each route brought unique enjoyment of nature and scenery, and Saturday promises the same. The final route of the autumn edition is the trail “From the Spring to the Frankopans”. Walkers will gather at 10:00 AM in the center of Povile (bus station), and after warm-up exercises, set off on a moderately demanding 10.5 km trail with an expected duration of 3.5 hours. The route is: Povile – Gradina Viewpoint – Old Town Ledenice – Žrnovnica – Povile.

It will be a true challenge for walkers, and as always, the organizers will provide walking poles and licensed guides to lead the group. Registration takes place at the meeting point, and organizers remind everyone to wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
