Easter Breakfast
As spring slowly takes over the rhythm of everyday life and longer, sunnier days invite us outdoors, Easter is approaching – a holiday that traditionally brings family and friends together around the table. This warm and welcoming atmosphere can once again be experienced in Novi Vinodolski, where the beautiful tradition of Easter gatherings in the open air continues.
On Sunday, April 5th at 11:00 AM, Korzo hrvatskih branitelja will once again become a meeting place for the well-known Easter Breakfast. The festive table will feature traditional delicacies – fragrant pinca, succulent ham, spring onions, boiled eggs, and a variety of cakes. A special highlight will surely be the fritaja made from as many as 1,000 eggs and asparagus, prepared in a large pan, which has become one of the signature attractions of the event. All these delicacies are a gift to visitors, as Easter is a celebration of sharing and togetherness. The offer will be further enriched by traditional Tonka’s fritule, this time in a special version – fritule ala Pinca.
The group Dinamika will add a special touch to the event with their lively performance, bringing joy and festive spirit. We have also prepared a program for our youngest visitors – including animation, creative workshops, and a special surprise mascot.
In addition to the Easter Sunday program, there are more activities to enjoy. The Novi Vinodolski Museum and Gallery is organizing two workshops – one on March 25th for adults, focused on crafting with thread and dried flowers, and another on April 1st for children, who will try their hand at decoupage with flowers. Both workshops will take place at the local library starting at 6:00 PM, with registration available via email at info@nmig.hr.
On Saturday, April 4th, visitors can also join a special Easter walk. Starting at 10:00 AM from the Pavlomir Wine House, a guided Nordic walking tour will take place. Participants will enjoy outdoor recreation with professional guidance, provided walking poles, and the opportunity to explore churches and chapels along the route. Upon returning to the Pavlomir Wine House, hikers will be able to enjoy a tasting menu at a promotional price of €15.
Join us in Novi Vinodolski for an Easter program filled with laughter, music, and delicious holiday treats that bring generations together!
