Easter Breakfast in Novi Vinodolski Attracted a Large Crowd – A Celebration of Tradition and Festive Spirit
On Sunday, April 20th, right on Easter Sunday, the Korzo of Croatian Veterans in Novi Vinodolski came alive with a full festive spirit. The traditional Easter Breakfast, organized by the Tourist Board of the City of Novi Vinodolski, brought together many tourists and locals who enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere, a rich spread of food, and a family-friendly program for all ages.
The scent of freshly prepared delicacies filled the air – traditional Easter treats like fragrant pinca (sweet bread), juicy ham, fresh spring onions, hard-boiled eggs, and a variety of homemade cakes lovingly prepared by the dedicated members of Association 51+. A true highlight was the giant frittata made from a thousand eggs, combined with 15 kg of wild asparagus, 10 kg of hamburger meat, spring onions, and spices. A total of 400 portions were served to the delight of everyone present. The Easter offering was further enriched by Tonka’s fritule (Croatian fritters), with the standout being the Easter-inspired “Fritule Ala Pinca” – bursting with the scent of the season.
Adding a special charm to the event were musicians Mateo Žmak and Matea Dujmović, who brought joy and festive vibes through their performance. Children had a blast with the animation program and creative workshops organized by ZIA Production, and the giant Easter Bunny was a hit with the little ones.
With delicious food, live music, children’s laughter, and a cheerful Easter ambiance, the Easter Breakfast once again confirmed its status as a beloved event that brings generations together and preserves tradition.
The organizers extend their heartfelt thanks to all visitors for creating an unforgettable Easter experience and invite everyone to the upcoming events.
