Novi Vinodolski – walkers stronger than bad weather

26. Apr
Celestial Labyrinths, Luka Krmpotska

The FIT4NOVI event continued on Saturday, April 26, with an exciting Nordic walking and hiking program. Despite poor weather conditions, around thirty participants joined in and were thrilled by the experience.

As a reminder, the Novi Vinodolski Tourist Board once again offers locals and visitors the attractive FIT4NOVI program, which includes, among other great activities, Nordic walking along the historical footpaths of Novi Vinodolski. Organized in cooperation with KŠR Gorovo and the Nordic Walking Team Opatija, the program features both blue and green trails – scenic routes suitable for all age groups.

After gathering in Luka Krmpotska and warming up, a cheerful group led by licensed guides set off on the Celestial Labyrinth Trail, undeterred by rain and strong winds. This trail truly leaves no one indifferent – with breathtaking panoramic views that connect rocky and green hilltops with the sea, a visit to the stunning Glass Chapel, and the labyrinth itself, it offers a unique and unforgettable walking experience.

Participants completed the 7-kilometre trail in about two and a half hours, collecting countless photos and memories along the way.

As always, the organizers provided walking poles for participants. Upon reaching the finish, a new Nordic walking meetup was scheduled for Saturday, May 10, when nature and walking enthusiasts will take on the challenging “Trail of Degenia” – a demanding but highly rewarding route not to be missed.
