With a fantastic atmosphere, a crowd of visitors, and the tempting aromas of food filling Frankopan Square, the Altroke Food Festival officially kicked off its second edition yesterday. Starting at 5:00 PM, the square transformed into a vibrant scene of delicious bites and music, culminating in a performance by the popular L’amour trio, which got many visitors dancing. From the very first day, it was clear that Novi Vinodolski had eagerly awaited Altroke’s return, as guests enjoyed a mix of familiar and new flavors. Mexican tacos and quesadillas from Marmota Taqueria, creative Istrian bites from Susalicious, and irresistible desserts from Pop’s Sweet Shop were simply too tempting to resist. Scents and tastes quickly won over the festival-goers.

Today, Friday, May 2, the festival reopens at 5:00 PM, and the evening promises lots of laughter – at 8:00 PM, the beloved Bloger Krule takes the stage with his sharp humor and unique style that fills venues across the region. Alongside the festival, the city center will be further enlivened by a flower fair from the early morning – a perfect opportunity for all gardening lovers, which continues on Saturday, May 3, in the town center.

Saturday brings another day full of flavor and rhythm – the gastro section opens at 5:00 PM, and the evening will peak with a performance by the energetic Žažara band, promising an unforgettable night.

Sunday, May 4, is reserved for a family atmosphere and the youngest visitors. Kids Day brings a whole lineup of activities – a magic show by Andrej Škedel, creative workshops, face painting, and a cheerful inflatable play area. On Sunday, the festival begins at 1:00 PM and runs until 9:00 PM.

Altroke Food Festival once again blends delicious food, diverse entertainment, and a laid-back open-air vibe. No fuss, no big hype – just a festival that invites you to come, taste, listen, and enjoy your time.
