Enjoy your holiday responsibly
17. June 2025.
The Civil Protection Directorate is once again launching the “RESPONSIBLE SUMMER HOLIDAYS” campaign to inform citizens and tourists about the importance of responsible behavior during the summer months.
Summer brings high temperatures and an increased number of visitors, along with greater risks – from heatwaves and wildfires to traffic accidents and medical emergencies. That’s why this campaign emphasizes personal responsibility and prevention through simple but essential guidelines:
-
Avoid sun exposure during extreme heat
-
Stay hydrated and avoid alcohol
-
Wear appropriate clothing – light, breathable fabrics, hats, and sunglasses
-
Bring enough food and water when heading into nature
-
Use UV protection (sunscreen, clothing)
-
Avoid travel during the hottest part of the day
-
Open fires are strictly forbidden
-
Follow weather alerts and warnings issued by DHMZ
Let’s be responsible – for ourselves and for others.
