The Tourist Board of Novi Vinodolski, in cooperation with its partners KŠR Gorovo, the Nordic Walking Team Opatija, and the Sports Recreation Alliance “Sport for All” of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, is organizing the 1st Nordic Walking Festival on November 9, 2025.

Participants can enjoy a guided Nordic walking program across four scenic routes showcasing the most beautiful parts of Novi Vinodolski and its surroundings. The trails are suitable for all fitness levels – from easy seaside strolls to more demanding routes through nature and the picturesque wine valley. One of the routes will take visitors through the old town, offering a unique blend of recreation and sightseeing.

All routes will start from Ivan Mažuranić Square, where participants will gather from 9:30 a.m. After a joint warm-up session, walkers will set off on their chosen paths, accompanied by experienced guides. Upon returning, everyone will enjoy a delicious lunch and entertainment featuring Šajeta and DJ Dog, turning this sporting day into a joyful celebration of healthy living.

The Nordic Walking Festival is part of the St. Martin’s Celebration, held on November 8 in Novi Vinodolski, featuring a performance by the popular group Klapa Rišpet. The weekend will be filled with great entertainment and various activities.
