Đurđa and Franko are a married couple. It’s unclear who annoys whom more… they simply can’t stand each other. And yet, they can’t live without one another. We met them in the hit play “Casabianca”, and now they return with new mishaps from their married life in the play “4 Funerals and a Wedding”. Irena Grdinić and Mario Lipovšek Battifiaca once again portray the eternal paradox of love. Because Đurđa and Franko hate each other so much – they actually love each other.

After a sold-out premiere at the Opatija Summer Stage on August 24, attended by over two thousand spectators, we can only conclude that honest and genuine laughter is the best remedy for every soul – and that this is a true phenomenon on the Croatian theatre scene.
