Novi Vinodolski will host the first edition of the Altroke Food Festival from May 1st to 5th. Judging by current tourism results, this will be a fantastic prelude to summer, attracting many visitors, both domestic and foreign. Besides tempting gastronomic specialties, visitors can enjoy a diverse program on Frankopan Square, tailored for all ages.

The festival opening will be on Wednesday at 5 PM, followed by a performance from the Rijeka-based Gearbox band at 8 PM, delighting the audience with a rich repertoire. It will be a journey through various genres, as this quartet will get everyone dancing to covers of foreign rock, country, funk, and disco hits.

Thursday is reserved for plenty of laughter, as a stand-up show starts at 8 PM, performed by the fantastic duo Aleks Curać Šarić and Saša Turković. This incredible tandem is known for their work with the Lajnap comedy collective. Their ability to refresh everyday situations with hilarious jokes and ironic comments guarantees unlimited laughter.

On Friday, starting at 8 PM, visitors will dance to a DJ playlist that takes them back to the golden era of the 1990s. The fun will be further enriched by a rich gastronomic story from Marmota Taqueria truck and Meat&Eat, and sweet specialties prepared by the Di Mare team will also be available.

During Saturday, the Altroke Food Festival will offer many activities aimed at children. At 2:30 PM, magician Andrej Škedel will perform, and there will be creative face-painting workshops. Starting at 8 PM, the legendary L’amour band will provide great entertainment with their recognizable style and positive energy that wins hearts wherever they perform.

On Saturday, Novi Vinodolski will attract not only lovers of good food and music but also sports enthusiasts, as the Novi trail race will take place from 9 AM to 3 PM. The 6 km and 10.5 km races start at 11 AM, with the award ceremony held at the Croatian Defenders’ Promenade. The children’s race starts at 1:30 PM at the same location.

The festival lasts until Sunday, which is dedicated to family day. Adults can enjoy strolling through colorful decorated spots and gourmet delicacies, while the youngest will be delighted by a bouncy castle open from 4:30 PM.

The Altroke Food Festival will be open on Wednesday and Thursday from 5 PM to midnight, on Friday from 5 PM to 1 AM, on Saturday from 10 AM to 1 AM, and on Sunday from noon to 10 PM.
