One of Novi Vinodolski’s most recognizable summer events – the Kilometer Festival – will once again fill the town’s longest promenade, Obala Petra Krešimira IV. On Friday, July 24, starting at 8:00 PM, visitors can look forward to a programme filled with music, a rich gastronomic offer, numerous exhibitors, and activities for the youngest guests.

Walking along the kilometre-long promenade, from its beginning all the way to Havana Beach Bar, visitors will be able to enjoy a diverse selection of exhibitors. Stalls will offer delicious sweets, homemade liqueurs and local products, as well as unique souvenirs and handicrafts. In addition to the existing offer of local hospitality venues, extra food and beverage options will be provided by gastro stands located at the beginning of the promenade and in the parking area below the former Zagrebačke ceste holiday resort.

Five musical acts will ensure a great atmosphere throughout the evening – TS Funtana, Joso Butorac and Vivak, Klapa Intriga, and two surprise bands. Music will accompany visitors along the entire promenade, while the youngest guests will be able to enjoy an interactive workshop by Tinker Labs. They can look forward to a science-filled workshop featuring exciting experiments, where they will learn how to launch a rocket, discover the science behind bubbles, and participate in dry ice experiments.

This year, attractive summer-themed photo spots have once again been prepared, allowing visitors to capture memories from the happiest kilometre of the summer.

At 11:00 PM, the sky above Novi Vinodolski will be illuminated by a fireworks display launched from the sea and travelling along the entire length of the promenade, enabling all visitors to enjoy its spectacular play of lights.

The Kilometer Festival once again brings together music, gastronomy, and seaside entertainment.

In order to organize this event as successfully as possible and ensure the best experience for visitors, we kindly ask all visitors and residents not to park their vehicles along the waterfront from 2:00 PM onwards on the day of the event. The waterfront will remain closed until the end of the event to allow for proper preparation and smooth operation throughout its duration. The municipal company will inform all regular users and, on the day of the event, close access points and direct vehicles to alternative parking areas for the safety of pedestrians and vehicles.
