Summer in Novi Vinodolski wouldn’t be complete without one of the most anticipated events – Festivity of a Kilometre!

This year’s event takes place on Monday, July 21, starting at 8:00 PM, when Petar Krešimir IV Seafront will be illuminated and transformed into the stage for an unforgettable summer evening – with the sea, music, and a unique atmosphere.

Walking from the very start of the promenade to Havana Beach Bar, visitors can enjoy a vibrant selection of vendors. Stands will offer delicious sweets, homemade liqueurs and products, as well as unique souvenirs and handcrafted items. Complementing the existing local eateries, additional gastro stalls will be set up at the promenade entrance and in the parking lot below the resort.

The evening atmosphere will be provided by five musical acts – Allegro, Joso Butorac & Vivak, Trio Arka, Duo Urnebes, and Damir Biondić (Bronz) – each with their distinct musical style. Music will accompany visitors at every step, while children will be entertained with face painting and fun animation games. Special photo corners will allow guests to capture their fondest memories.

At 11:00 PM, a fireworks display launched from the sea will light up the sky over Novi Vinodolski, traveling the entire length of the kilometer promenade, giving everyone a dazzling light show to enjoy.

To ensure the event runs smoothly, we kindly ask visitors and residents not to park vehicles along the seafront from 2:00 PM on that day. The promenade will remain closed until the end of the event to allow proper preparation. The municipal services will notify regular users, close off entries, and redirect vehicles to alternative parking areas for pedestrian and vehicle safety.
