On Wednesday, 5 August, the Novi Pliva swimming marathon will start from the beach below the Aminess Vival Lišanj Family Hotel. The event includes races for both children and adults.

The children’s races are divided into three categories:

• “Little Fish” Race – for children born in 2020 or later (2020, 2021, 2022…): 20 m swim (swimming with fins and swim gloves is permitted).
• “Octopus” Race – for children born between 2019 and 2016: 100 m.
• “Dolphins” Race – for children born between 2015 and 2012: 200 m, starting from the beach, around the town diving platform, and back.

The “SAN MARINO” Race is open to all competitors born in 2011 or earlier. Official timing will be provided for this race. The course starts from the beach in front of the hotel, circles the San Marino islet, and finishes back at the beach.

Participation in the children’s races is free of charge, while the entry fee for the San Marino Race is €20. Participants who register for the main race by 1 August 2026 will receive a starter pack including a Novi Pliva T-shirt, a bottle of water, and an energy bar. Registration will also be available on the day of the race, but without a starter pack.

7:30–9:00 AM – Starter pack collection (beach below the Aminess Vival Lišanj Family Hotel)

9:30 AM – “SAN MARINO” Race start (beach below the hotel)

10:30 AM – Children’s races start

11:30 AM – Award ceremony

12:00 PM – Lunch distribution

9:00 PM – Concert by Parni Valjak in the centre of Novi Vinodolski
