The continuation of the program “Nordic Walking Through the Historical Trails of Novi Vinodolski”, organized by the Tourist Board of Novi Vinodolski in cooperation with KŠR Gorovo and the Nordic Walking Team Opatija, and held over four Saturdays in October and November along the “blue and green trails”, proved to be a complete success right from the first gathering.

The program, tailored to all age groups, began with the attractive “Fisherman’s Trail”. A good number of walkers gathered in the center of Klenovica, and after warming up, led by licensed guides, they set off on the scenic route. The 6 km trail, lasting approximately 2 hours, followed the route: Klenovica – Smokvica – Klenovica. The weather was perfect – the bura wind and sunshine only added to the experience, making the outdoor activity refreshing and invigorating – exactly how it should be.

As always, the organizers ensured that participants had access to walking poles, and the company of guides made the walk truly enjoyable in an atmosphere so typical for this region.

The next stage of this attractive program follows on October 26, when walkers will take on the wonderful “Heavenly Labyrinth” trail. Organizers will provide all necessary details in due time. Get ready – it’s going to be great, just like everything in Novi!
