This Saturday marks the start of a new Nordic walking season in Novi Vinodolski as part of the FIT4NOVI event.

The sports and recreational event FIT4NOVI, which brings a variety of attractive programs to Novi Vinodolski, kicks off this Saturday with Nordic walking and hiking activities. The Novi Vinodolski Tourist Board is once again offering residents and visitors an engaging FIT4NOVI program, including the popular Nordic walking activity along the town’s historic promenades—sure to delight all nature and walking enthusiasts. The program is organized in cooperation with KŠR Gorovo and the Nordic Walking Team Opatija, offering routes along blue and green trails suitable for all age groups.

At the start of the new season, organizers are announcing an excellent walking program for Saturday, May 2, titled the “Degenia Trail.” Participants will gather at 10:00 AM at Kozica campsite, and after a warm-up session, set off along the route Kozica – Sušnji – Sibinj – Kozica. This trail presents a real challenge, as it is classified as difficult, stretches over 11.5 km, and takes approximately 5 hours to complete. However, as organizers emphasize, the unique nature experience makes it well worth the effort.

Participants will be provided with Nordic walking poles, and the walk will be led by licensed guides. Registration takes place at the meeting point. Participants are advised to wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and to bring sun protection and sufficient water.

Everything is set for a memorable walking Saturday! Experience the Degenia Trail with us!
