OLD CUSTOMS AND TRADITIONS

At the beginning of each calendar year, precisely on the first Sunday after the Feast of the Three Kings, the carnival madness begins in Kvarner – and so it is in Novi Vinodolski, where locals love and respect their traditions and customs.

This year’s carnival celebrations start on January 20th, with a four-week program packed with activities for both adults and children. Saturdays are reserved for carnival dances, and Sundays for children’s parades and tea parties.
