As part of the FIT4NOVI event, which celebrates sport, movement, and a healthy lifestyle, the increasingly popular Novi Trail will once again take place this year – a race that continues to attract a growing number of running enthusiasts from across Croatia and the wider region.

The third edition of this attractive race will be held on Saturday, May 30, starting at 10:00 AM, with both the start and finish located at Korzo hrvatskih branitelja in Novi Vinodolski. The same location will host the awards ceremony for the best competitors in each category after the race.

Participant gathering begins at 9:00 AM, and runners can choose between two scenic routes – a shorter 5 km course and a longer 11.5 km course – both leading through the picturesque hinterland of Novi Vinodolski, combining a sporting challenge with stunning natural surroundings.

A special place in the programme is reserved for the youngest participants – children’s races of 100 and 200 metres will take place at 12:30 PM on Korzo hrvatskih branitelja, giving kids the chance to experience the excitement of competition and the joy of movement.

Registrations are already open at https://www.runcroatia.hr/utrke/novi-trail-2026. The entry fee for the main races is €25, while participation in children’s races is free of charge. All participants who register and pay by May 21, 2026, will receive a rich race package including an official race T-shirt, bib number, electronic timing, a finisher medal, a starter pack, lunch, and additional perks.

After the sporting part, the fun continues – in the evening, participants and visitors can enjoy an after-run party featuring a concert by popular singer Zsa Zsa in the city centre.

A large number of partners and sponsors have recognised the value of this sporting event and will reward the top competitors. The event is organised by the Novi Vinodolski Tourist Board and Run Croatia, in cooperation with the City of Novi Vinodolski and the Novi Vinodolski Cultural Centre.
