On Saturday, November 16, the excellent program “Nordic Walking Through the Historic Trails of Novi Vinodolski” continues. It is organized by the Tourist Board of the City of Novi Vinodolski in cooperation with KŠR Gorovo and the Nordic Walking Team Opatija, offering Nordic walking and hiking along various trails.

The third route of the autumn-winter edition is the “Valley of Wine”, which, in addition to an attractive walking trail, will feature a specially prepared tasting. Walkers will gather at 10:00 AM in Pavlomir – a location that has placed Novi Vinodolski on the wine map of Europe and beyond. After warm-up exercises, the group will set off on the route Pavlomir – Old Town Novi Vinodolski (Church of St. Philip and James) – Frankopan Castle with the Kvadrac Tower – Pavlomir. The route is 8 km long with an estimated walking time of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

At the finish, participants will enjoy a tasting experience, available at a promotional price of 12 euros. It includes three wines, a platter of prosciutto and cheese, and bread. It will be a great opportunity to explore this unique winery through its eno-gastronomic offering, and walkers are sure to enjoy this special day.

It’s important to note that organizers will provide walking poles and that licensed guides will lead the group. Registration is done at the meeting point, and organizers remind participants to wear suitable clothing and footwear for walking.
