In an effort to bring its rich cultural heritage and traditional customs closer to visitors, Novi Vinodolski will present the “Cultural Heritage of Novi Vinodolski” programme. The event will take place on Thursday, 2 July 2026, starting at 9:00 PM.

The evening will begin with a ceremonial parade along Korzo hrvatskih branitelja, followed by a special programme featuring members of the KUD Ilija Dorčić Cultural and Artistic Society and the Novljansko kolo Association of the Chakavian Parliament.

Visitors will be welcomed by the young mesopustari accompanied by the traditional mesopustarska zoga. Through songs, the sounds of the sopile, traditional dances and the Novljansko kolo, they will present part of the rich cultural and folkloric heritage that has been carefully preserved and passed down from generation to generation in Novi Vinodolski.

This event offers a unique opportunity to discover the customs and traditions deeply woven into the town’s identity and serves as a valuable link between the past and the future.
