After a festive and eventful December Advent program, Novi Vinodolski is ready to wrap up the year with its traditional and much-loved New Year’s Toast, which will once again fill the city center with joy. On Tuesday, December 31st, our town will once again become the epicenter of celebration as we bid farewell to the old year and joyfully welcome the new one.

From 10:00 AM on Ivan Mažuranić Square, the atmosphere will be brought to life by two live music bands, Insula and Point, while Replay Band will keep things festive on Vinodol Law Square. Delicious food won’t be missing either. In addition to the culinary offerings from three Advent huts, hunting clubs Gradina and Košutnjak-Novi will treat you with their specialties, while the Ružica Vinodola Association will ensure no one is left thirsty. Special souvenir mugs will be available for €10, including unlimited servings of mulled red and white wine and one meal (hunter’s stew or sausage), and can be purchased at three locations in the city center. The hunters and wine stands will also be located at two separate points.

We’ve also thought of our youngest visitors! Kids will enjoy a rich animation program by Animino Group, face painting at two locations, friendly mascots, and sweet treats – doughnuts and juices distributed by the ever-smiling members of Association 51+. There will be no shortage of fun, and you’ll even be able to capture your best memories at a special photo corner – and take your picture home with you!

The festive spirit continues even after the toast! Our Winter Magic of the Frankopans Ice Rink remains open until January 6th, and on the final day of skating, visitors can enjoy a special performance by Paola Butković, a talented local figure skater, accompanied live by Nela Butorac. It will be the perfect ending to the winter magic on ice.

We’re also proud to share that Novi Vinodolski is once again competing for the title of the most beautiful Advent in the small towns category on the gradonačelnik.hr portal.
