On Friday, August 11, starting at 8 PM, on the summer stage of the old town of Bribir, the candidates for this year’s “Ružica Vinodola” will be presented to the wider public for the first time, emerging from the tower. After that, they will take on their first task – preparing traditional Bribir “makaruni” (pasta). The goal is to knead as many makaruni as possible within a limited time.

While the game is taking place, Đani Stipaničev will sing, and members of the Bribir Cultural Artistic Society (KUD Bribir) will prepare makaruni, which visitors will later have the opportunity to taste.

After announcing the best candidate and awarding prizes, the party is guaranteed to last late into the night with the band “Insula” and a rich food and drink offer by Caffe Bar Passage.

The competition for Ružica Vinodola 2023 continues the following weekend in Novi Vinodolski – on August 17, the competition will be held in Pavlomir with the band “Prava stvar”, on August 18 at Frankopan Square with the band “Point”, and on Saturday, August 19, the final games will be held and this year’s Ružica Vinodola will be proclaimed in the old town, followed by a party with Giuliano and Diktatori.
