High Turnout for Education Seminar for Small Renters in Novi Vinodolski
27. March 2025.
On Monday, March 24th, a seminar for small renters was held in the City Hall of Novi Vinodolski, organized by the Tourist Board of the City of Novi Vinodolski and the Interligo d.o.o. Family Accommodation Advisory. The great interest demonstrated how relevant this topic is – the hall was filled to capacity, with attendees searching for additional seats.
The first part of the seminar, covering legal obligations and administrative aspects of the business, was led by Ms. Meri Čizmić Kraljević. She paid special attention to the latest tax regulations, which attracted significant interest from the participants. Along with explaining the required documentation and the responsibilities of small renters, participants received useful advice on proper business management and avoiding common mistakes.
After a short break, the seminar continued with the topic of accommodation pricing strategies, presented by Ms. Anamarija Cicarelli. Participants learned how to properly set accommodation prices, including determining maximum rates and adjusting offers with discounts, depending on market demand. In addition to pricing management, Ms. Cicarelli also covered advertising on digital platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com in detail, explaining how their algorithms work and what renters can do to make their listings more visible and attract more guests. Participants became familiar with concrete methods for optimizing listings, managing reviews, and adapting descriptions and photos to make their accommodations more appealing to potential guests.
During the seminar, participants also had the opportunity to ask questions and clarify any uncertainties they encounter in their business operations, with the interactive discussion further enriching the presentation.
The high turnout and positive feedback confirm the need for such seminars, which provide small renters with the key knowledge for successful business operations. The organizers expressed satisfaction with the turnout and announced the continuation of similar seminars, aiming to further support small renters and improve the local tourism offer.
