The Tourist Board of the City of Novi Vinodolski, in cooperation with workshop leader Vlatka Janjić, organized two highly successful bookmark-making workshops in July, which were in high demand. The workshops were held on Tuesday, July 16th, and Tuesday, July 30th, at the Tourist Information Center of the Tourist Board of Novi Vinodolski.

Under the expert guidance of Vlatka Janjić, participants learned how to properly handle epoxy resin and which type of epoxy resin is most suitable for beginners. Thanks to Vlatka’s instructions, making bookmarks was not difficult at all, and the results were excellent – beautiful bookmarks with summer motifs. Flowers, shells, and gold leaf decorated most of the bookmarks, and each was unique despite using the same materials, allowing participants to express their creativity.

During the workshops, participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the process of mixing and pouring epoxy resin, which was the first encounter with this material for many. Since the epoxy resin drying process takes 24 hours, after that time, participants found their beautiful works waiting for them at the TIC, ready to be picked up and showcased.

The workshops proved to be successful, and participants openly expressed satisfaction with the new skills acquired. We believe that we will organize similar workshops in the future.
