1. The Tourist Board of the City of Novi Vinodolski announces a public call for the submission of souvenirs which, if they meet the conditions of the call and the criteria of the Tourist Board, will be marked as official souvenirs from Novi Vinodolski. Authors/producers of selected souvenirs will receive a Certificate of Originality.
2. This is a public call, and all legal and natural persons registered or residing in the Republic of Croatia have the right to participate.
3. The souvenir should reflect the continuity of artistic, cultural, historical, or traditional heritage of the city of Novi Vinodolski, or represent its tangible, intangible, or natural heritage.
4. Submitted souvenirs may include artworks and artistic objects, artisanal and gastronomic products, clothing and utility items, graphic materials, and multimedia (photographs and videos). In the case of artworks or artisanal items, the pieces must be of high-quality workmanship made from eco-friendly or locally characteristic materials.
5. Each author/producer may submit a maximum of three souvenirs.
6. Souvenirs must be submitted in physical form, in appropriate packaging if necessary, along with the completed Application Form, which is an integral part of this call.
7. All timely submissions will be evaluated by the Tourist Board of the City of Novi Vinodolski. Evaluation criteria include: authenticity, creativity, quality of craftsmanship, original presentation – packaging, aesthetics, ecological principles, and overall representation of the identity of Novi Vinodolski.
8. In addition to the above criteria, priority will be given to souvenirs that interpret the cultural, historical, and touristic values of Novi Vinodolski in various ways, taking into account its maritime tradition, architectural and sculptural heritage, and unique natural settings.
9. Based on the overall assessment, the Tourist Board of the City of Novi Vinodolski will decide on the selection of souvenirs.
10. Souvenirs that are not selected will be returned to their authors/producers.
11. The Tourist Board of the City of Novi Vinodolski reserves the right to use the selected souvenirs in its promotional activities.
12. The Tourist Board of the City of Novi Vinodolski reserves the right to cancel this call without explanation or obligation to cover any costs or consequences.
13. By applying, authors/producers agree that their personal data will be collected and processed in accordance with Regulation [EU] 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC, dated 27 April 2016 [Official Journal of the European Union, L119/1]. Personal data is collected and processed with the consent of the data subject for the specified purpose.
14. Souvenir proposals with completed application forms must be submitted no later than 14 April 2025 (in person or by post) to the following address:

16. Incomplete and late applications will not be considered.
17. The results of the call will be published within one month after the deadline on the official website of the Tourist Board of the City of Novi Vinodolski.
18. By participating in the call, all applicants unconditionally accept its terms.
19. The call is open from 14 February to 14 April 2025.
