The Tourist Board of the City of Novi Vinodolski, the City of Novi Vinodolski, and KTD “Ivanj” will once again, in cooperation with local restaurateurs, mark the end of the summer season with the gastro-cultural event “Novalja Delights”, presenting regional delicacies to all visitors.

This well-received event will take place on Sunday, September 18th, starting at 10:00 AM in the center of Novi Vinodolski, specifically on Ivan Mažuranić Square. For a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, live music will be provided by the traditional vocal group Klapa Nevera.

Local restaurants will prepare tasting portions of various dishes and desserts, perfectly paired with wines for a complete culinary experience. Tastings will be available at the following prices: HRK 20.00 for a main dish, HRK 15.00 for a dessert, and HRK 10.00 for 1 dcl of wine. Vouchers for tastings will be sold by the dedicated members of the “51+” association at several locations near the venue.

Some of the specialties featured will include: Vinodol’s Ružica pork chop, black cuttlefish risotto, the “Primorje Plate”, Hungarian perkelt stew, mussels in buzara sauce, brodet with polenta, wine goulash, as well as ricotta and fig squares, Frankopan cake, and of course top-quality wines such as Žlahtina, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malvasia.

This is an open invitation to locals and guests alike to relax and enjoy a day filled with authentic music, local cuisine, and fine wines – all part of a one-day event that brings the summer season to a joyful close in Novi Vinodolski. It’s also a great opportunity for restaurateurs to showcase their offerings and perhaps win over new fans of their culinary creations.

The aim of this event is to say goodbye to the summer season together – in good spirits, with great food and local charm. We warmly invite all residents and visitors to spend their Sunday morning in Novi and experience the talents of our exceptional chefs.
